Bangladesh reach best ever ODI team ranking of sixth

The Bangladeshi cricket team reached its best ever ODI team ranking of sixth on Thursday, after registering its first ODI win against New Zealand on foreign soil. The Mashrafe Mortaza-led side is now placed above Sri Lanka, Pakistan and West Indies. Notably, the top seven teams as on September 30, 2017, will qualify directly for the ICC World Cup 2019.
