Bangladeshi man accused of stabbing Saif Ali Khan seeks to plead guilty

Mohammad Shariful Islam, a Bangladeshi national accused of repeatedly stabbing actor Saif Ali Khan at his Mumbai home in January 2025, has sought to plead guilty and requested leniency. He is currently in judicial custody. The court has asked the prosecution to respond to his application and adjourned the matter to September 11.
