Bank CEO quits days after bank deposits ₹9,000 cr by mistake in Chennai man's account

S Krishnan, Managing Director and CEO of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB), resigned from the post citing "personal reasons". Krishnan still had about two-third of his term remaining. This comes days after the bank mistakenly credited ₹9,000 crore to a Chennai-based cab driver, who is an account holder of the bank. Most of the amount was later debited by the bank.
