Bank employee steals ₹8.7 crore in boxes filled with garbage in Guj, buys properties & crypto

Ahmedabad Police arrested a joint custodian at Bank of Baroda for allegedly stealing ₹8.70 crore from bank's RBI currency chest vault in January. Harsiddh Kadiyar smuggled the cash out of bank in "garbage-filled" boxes. He used the money to buy a bungalow, shop, truck and cryptocurrency. He continued working at the branch, believing CCTV footage would auto-delete in 90 days.
