Bank NIFTY up 3%, all of its 14 stocks end in green

Banking stocks were the biggest gainers on June 12, with the Bank Nifty index climbing nearly 2.9% and all 14 of its constituents trading firmly in the green. Sensex gained 1,695.40 points or +2.30%. Bajaj Finance was the biggest overall gainer, rising 5.5%, while Tech Mahindra ended in red, falling by 2.2%. This comes after Brent crude fell around 5%.
