Bank servers down, UPI payments failing on these apps

Servers of several banks along with several Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platforms appeared to be facing an outage across India. Several users took to social media platforms and expressed concerns over failed payments via different banking apps, namely that of HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bank of Baroda and others.
