Banks will be closed in 18 states on May 23 due to Buddha Purnima

Bank holidays are going to be held in most of the states on Thursday. The festival of Buddha Purnima is celebrated across the country, due to which banks will not function. Banks will not be closed simultaneously in all the states in which RBI has issued a holiday. Banks are going to remain closed only in those states.
