'Banned Books Week' begins in US

The 'Banned Books Week' began in the United States on Sunday with an aim to highlight banned and 'challenged' books. Promoted by Amnesty International and the American Library Association, it has been held since 1982. The ALA has named John Green's 'Looking for Alaska' and EL James' 'Fifty Shades of Grey' among the most 'challenged' titles last year.
