Banned in China, Reddit raises $300 million led by China's Tencent

US-based Reddit confirmed it has raised $300 million at a $3 billion post-money valuation, with $150 million from China's Tencent. This comes as several US-based services like Google and Facebook are blocked in China while Reddit has been banned since August 2018.
