Barak Valley is very serious: Minister Krishnendu on Assam rain

Assam Minister Krishnendu Paul said Barak Valley is facing a severe flood crisis after receiving over 500 mm of rain in a day. More than 1,100 revenue villages across Hailakandi, Sribhumi, and Cachar districts are under water. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the area, assessing the damage and planning relief efforts, he said, adding, "Situation...is very serious."
