Barbed wire put up against student protesters, BJP equates Ranchi to international borders

Barbed wire was put up in Jharkhand's Ranchi as student protesters said they would march towards the state Assembly on Monday. Criticising CM Hemant Soren-led JMM-Congress government, the BJP said, "This is not a scene of any international border...Treating young people demanding their rights like enemies is an insult to democracy." During the march, students were lathi-charged.
