Barbie maker Mattel wins rights to make Disney Princess toys after 6 years

Barbie maker Mattel has won the rights to produce dolls based on Disney's princess characters, including Frozen's Elsa. Its rival Hasbro took over the Disney Princess and Frozen license in 2016 after Mattel had been making the toys for 20 years. "This is a defining moment in our transformation," CEO Ynon Kreiz said, without revealing the deal's financial terms.
