World number 32 Barbora Krejcikova defeated world number seven Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 in the women's singles final to win her maiden Wimbledon title. Krejcikova, who won French Open in 2021, has become the first Czech woman to win singles titles at different Grand Slams. The 28-year-old Czech won a prize money of £2.7 million (over ₹28.5 crore).
