Barcelona sign Leganes' Braithwaite outside transfer window

Denmark's Martin Braithwaite has signed a four-year contract with Barcelona after the Catalan club was given special permission by La Liga to sign a player outside the transfer window. The striker is moving from La Liga side Leganes after the Catalan side paid his €18-million release clause. "I was surprised... but at the same time not so surprised," Braithwaite said.
