Barclays' CEO CS Venkatakrishnan diagnosed with cancer, says condition is 'curable'
Barclays' India-born CEO CS Venkatakrishnan has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a type of cancer. Venkatakrishnan in a regulatory filing said that his condition is curable and that he'll undergo treatment in New York for 12 to 16 weeks. "During this period, the company will run normally, and I'll continue to be actively engaged in managing it," said Venkatakrishnan.
