Baseless: IIT-Bombay as reports claim it set ₹6 lakh minimum package for placements

IIT-Bombay has denied reports that it has asked companies not to offer students less than ₹6 lakh per annum package during placements. Public Relations Officer Falguni Banerjee Naha termed the reports "baseless." A report earlier claimed that IIT-Bombay set the benchmark after it recorded its lowest-ever placement offer of ₹4 lakh in the last cycle.
