Baseless: NCP MP Praful on reports of him becoming party chief

NCP MP Praful Patel dismissed reports of him becoming the party's National President after Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar's demise. "These reports are totally baseless and lack any truth," he said. "NCP is a democratic institution. A decision of this magnitude will only be made by consulting our senior leadership, MLAs...office-bearers...and all our party members," he added.
