BASF considers $4-bn Indian chemicals complex with Adani, others

German chemicals maker BASF is partnering with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Adani Group and Borealis to study the feasibility of a petrochemical complex in India worth up to $4 billion. The chemicals complex in Gujarat's Mundra would be the world's first to be fully powered by renewable energy. BASF would contribute around half of the overall investment amount.
