Basmati exports expected to stay steady amid US-Iran war: CRISIL

India's basmati rice exports are expected to stay steady despite imports by Iran being affected by its war with US, a report by CRISIL Ratings said. The report added that higher demand from other Middle East countries may offset this fall in exports. Iran reportedly imports 14% of basmati rice while Middle Eastern and other West Asian countries import 70-72%.
