Spinner Gareth Batty returned to the England Test side after 142 matches, setting the record for most consecutive matches missed for a team between appearances. Batty played a Test after 11 years on Thursday, featuring in the English XI against Bangladesh in Chittagong. His last match was also against the same opponent at home in 2005.
