Bay of Bengal trough triggers rain alert in Telugu states

A Bay of Bengal trough has brought a sudden weather change across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The IMD has forecast thunderstorms, lightning, heavy rain and gusty winds of up to 50 kmph over the next three days. Several districts may witness moderate to heavy showers, while heatwave conditions are expected to persist in parts of Andhra Pradesh despite the rainfall.
