BBMP allegedly delays salaries for marshals helping to enforce COVID rules

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has delayed the payment of salaries to marshals engaged in enforcing COVID-19 rules in the city amid the pandemic. Deputy Chief Marshal Colonel Basavaraj alleged that all marshals who were deployed in this work got their September salary only on Wednesday. Their dues for October are allegedly yet to be paid.
