BBMP may add waste management fee to electricity bill: Reports

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is considering adding a Solid Waste Management (SWM) fee component to the electricity bill, according to reports. It'll be done in several slabs depending on the monthly electricity bill of the household, the reports said. The SWM fee for domestic users will reportedly range from ₹30-₹500/month, with ₹500/month being for electricity bills above ₹3,000.
