Bengaluru civic body BBMP and Sahavarthin Animal Welfare Trust are intending to roll out multiple initiatives under the umbrella of 'BITE FREE LOCALITY'. Under this initiative, BBMP will celebrate 'Kukur Tihar' (festival of dogs) on October 17 by bringing together RWAs and animal caretakers to share stories of bond they share with street dogs. BBMP will also kickstart feeding exercise.
