BBMP to revamp 7.5-km stormwater drain with new facilities

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has announced a major redevelopment project for the 7.5-km stormwater drain (SWD) stretching from Hebbal to Hennur, which runs parallel to the Outer Ring Road (ORR). This initiative is part of the ‘Janara Kaluve’ (citizens drain) project, inspired by Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.
