BBMP’s 'School on Wheels' programme to begin after Dasara: Officials

BBMP’s ‘School on Wheels’ programme is expected to be launched after Dasara, officials claim. Initially scheduled to be launched in February this year, the programme is aimed to educate out of school children in BMTC buses. For the programme, Bengaluru's civic body spent ₹4 lakh each to modify interiors of old BMTC buses to resemble them with Anganwadi classrooms.
