BCB chief Tamim seeks govt help for India's tour after Bangladesh's T20 World Cup pullout

BCB President Tamim Iqbal has sought government-level talks with India to secure Indian men's team's September tour of Bangladesh. Tamim met Bangladesh's State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam as the board awaits confirmation for the white-ball series. The tour was initially scheduled for 2024 but was delayed repeatedly. Notably, Bangladesh withdrew from T20 World Cup 2026 in India.
