The BCCI on Wednesday appointed Rahul Johri as its first CEO. Johri was previously serving as Discovery Networks Asia Pacific's executive vice-president and general manager for South Asia. He is set to assume his office from June 1, wherein he'll be responsible for "smooth functioning of operations, stakeholder management and building robust strategies for further promoting the sport," BCCI said.
