The Indian Premier League-style competition for retired cricket players is being considered by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. A league for past players was requested by a group of former players who recently met with BCCI Secretary Jay Shah. Shah promised to take the suggestion into consideration and will present a fresh idea by the following year.
