The BCCI has restricted benched players from moving around the ground during IPL matches. Players outside the designated 16 named in the team sheet are now barred from entering the field to carry drinks, bats or deliver messages. Additionally, no more than five bibs-wearing players are permitted to move around the boundary rope.
