BCCI informally approached Laxman for Test head coach role after whitewash vs SA: Report

The BCCI informally approached VVS Laxman to check if he'd be interested in coaching India Test team after South Africa whitewashed India 2-0, PTI reported. The report added that Laxman told the BCCI official that he is happy being 'Head of Cricket' at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Gambhir's contract as head coach runs until 2027 ODI World Cup.
