BCCI mourns demise of India's oldest cricketer CD Gopinath

The BCCI mourned the death of India's oldest Test cricketer CD Gopinath on Thursday. BCCI President Mithun Manhas said, "Not only did he contribute for India...but he also played a key role in Madras' early successes." BCCI Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia added, "He belonged to a generation that...helped shape Indian cricket in its formative years." Gopinath was 96.
