BCCI plans grand IPL 2027 celebrations, re-elects Dhumal, Majumdar to Governing Council

The BCCI plans to stage grand celebrations for the IPL's 20th edition in 2027. The decision was taken at the board's 95th Annual General Meeting in Mumbai on Friday. Arun Singh Dhumal, who has served as chairman of the IPL Governing Council since 2022, and M Khairul Jamal Majumdar were re-elected unopposed to the council.
