The BCCI shared list of records that were broken on first day of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26. Bihar registered highest-ever List A total (574/6), while Karnataka recorded highest-ever successful chase in VHT (413 runs). Vaibhav Sooryavanshi became youngest men's List A centurion at 14 years and 272 days. A total of record 22 centuries were hit on the first day.
