Bar Council seeks Mamata's enrolment records after she wears lawyer's robes

Bar Council of India (BCI) has written to Bar Council of West Bengal and sought records of ex-West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's enrolment and legal practice status after she appeared before Calcutta High Court wearing a lawyer's robes. The council has been asked to furnish the information within two days. Banerjee arrived in court in a case concerning post-poll violence.
