BDO office in WB set on fire, IC injured during SIR protest

Ongoing SIR process took a violent turn on Thursday at West Bengal's Chakulia. Protesters set fire to the Block Development Officer’s (BDO) office and attacked police personnel, leaving local Inspector-in-Charge (IC) seriously injured and bleeding. Protesters smashed furniture at BDO office and set the entire premises on fire, destroying crucial administrative documents and SIR-related records.
