BDS student found dead in Kerala; kin alleges caste discrimination

The family of a BDS student who allegedly died by suicide in Kerala alleged foul play regarding the circumstances behind his death. They alleged that caste discrimination by the faculty and ragging by senior students caused his death. The college, meanwhile, constituted an internal committee to probe the incident and suspended two professors. A police investigation is underway.
