Bed Bath & Beyond to close Canada operations amid bankruptcy

Bed Bath & Beyond's Canadian division will shut down its business, according to a court filing on Friday. This comes two days after the company raised nearly $225 million from a stock sale in a bid to avoid bankruptcy. The division, which operates 54 Bed Bath & Beyond stores and 11 buybuy BABY stores, is insolvent, the filing showed.
