Bees could help humans communicate with aliens, say scientists

Honeybees, evolutionarily distant from humans by 600 million years, perform addition, subtraction, zero recognition & odd/even classification despite minuscule brains, a study said. Despite having under 1 million neurons, bees show abstract numerical reasoning. Scientists believe this strengthens that mathematics transcends biology and offers universal language for extraterrestrial communication.
