Before becoming shooter, Asiad medallist Himanshu trained as wrestler inspired by Olympian uncle

Indian shooter Himanshu Dhillon, who won two silver medals at Asian Games 2026, initially trained as a wrestler, inspired by his relative Olympian Hardeep Singh Dhillon. Himanshu is from Haryana's Jind and considers ex-India captain Virat Kohli, Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra and shooter Arjun Babuta his idols. He won medals in men's 10m air rifle team and individual events.
