Before retiring as IAF chief, AP Singh urged govt not to take over IAF sports complex: Report

Before AP Singh retired as IAF chief on October 31, he wrote to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, urging the government to not take over the IAF's sports complex within the Air Force Station near PM Narendra Modi's residence, HT reported. He highlighted the multifaceted role of the Air Force Station. Earlier, Singh's farewell golfing event at the venue was cancelled.
