Begged US players to sing national anthem: Ex-US football team assistant coach

Canada men's football team head coach Jesse Marsch, who previously served as US men's national team's assistant coach, revealed that American players had to be begged to sing national anthem. Marsch said Canadian players sing the anthem at the top of their lungs because they want to show how proud they're to represent their country at FIFA World Cup 2026.
