Belarus opposition leader leaves country after rejecting poll result

Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya has left Belarus after rejecting the result of the presidential election. Tikhanovskaya, who is now in Lithuania, said that she has left the country for the sake of her children. President Alexander Lukashenko was re-elected for a sixth term after winning 80% of the votes, sparking violent protests against the poll result in the country.
