Vertex Venture Management, the VC arm of the Singapore Government-backed investment firm Temasek, announced Ben Mathias as Managing Director and head of India operations on Thursday. Mathias replaces Ajay Lakhotia, who left the firm to start his own investment company. Mathias had earlier worked at the India operations of New Enterprise Associates (NEA).
