Bengal govt may close schools, colleges: CM amid COVID-19 case rise

Amid rising COVID-19 cases, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday asked officials to review the pandemic situation in the state. At a meeting, she said the government may consider closing down schools and colleges for some time. Banerjee asked officials to identify containment zones where COVID-19 cases have been on the rise.
