Bengal Guv Bose unveils own statue at Raj Bhavan, clarifies after backlash
West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose unveiled a statue of himself at Raj Bhavan on Saturday, following which he faced backlash. "He did it because he wanted some kind of publicity...It's a sign of a megalomaniac," TMC said. "This is unfortunate for our state," CPI(M) added. Bose's office later clarified that the statue was a sculptor's gift to him.
