Bengal hotel in which fire killed 9 had only 1 entry & exit and no emergency exits

The guests, who survived the fire that killed nine people in Kolkata's Shikha Inn hotel, said the hotel had only one entry and exit and no emergency exits. "There was no fire-alarm or fire-fighting system," Amirul Hossain, a guest, said. Fire Department Minister Kaushik Chowdhury said the building management did not comply with basic safety and construction norms.
