Bengal politics hit new low: TMC MP Ghosh after attack on Abhishek

Actress and TMC MP Saayoni Ghosh said "Bengal politics hit a new low" after the party's national general secretary and Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee was attacked with stones and eggs in West Bengal's Sonarpur. "A pre-planned attack by those who stole people's true verdict...shocking assault on democratic values," she added. Abhishek alleged BJP was responsible for the attack.
