Bengal Transport Minister Firhad Hakim appointed Kolkata Mayor

West Bengal Transport Minister Firhad Hakim has been appointed as the new Mayor of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC). At a meeting of newly-elected TMC councillors, it was decided that Atin Ghosh will be the Deputy Mayor and South Kolkata MP Mala Roy was appointed the next Chairperson of the civic body. TMC has won 134 of the 144 wards.
