Bengali only Indian language on 2024 New York Presidential ballot

New York City's presidential ballot will now include Bengali alongside English, marking it as the only Indian language on the ballot. Executive Director Michael J Ryan explained this addition followed a language access lawsuit mandating support for a prominent Indian language. By law, Bengali voting materials will be available at specified polling sites to help Bengali-speaking voters.
